The American Red Lion Disaster Fund was able to support our organization during a critical time of need. The organization generously donated to us to help save dogs and cats who were displaced by the devastating flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas. With their help and the help of our amazing supporters we were able to save 86 dogs and 15 cats who otherwise would have lost their lives. We are so incredibly thankful for the donation the American Red Lion Disaster Fund was able to provide to us.  Read more about our rescue mission here

     The Red Cross States

“Massive disasters like Hurricane Harvey create more needs than any one organization can meet on its own.”

We know this. This is why we’re here.

Unfortunately there are no well-known nationwide programs to facilitate funds on a local level for animals affected by disasters or abuse. The Red Cross only provides for service animals serving people.
We have access to over 25,000 organizations who can help animals when disasters strike or when faced with abusive situations.

When you support us, you support the possibility of 25,000 animal welfare & animal rights nonprofit organizations staying in business to help stop animal abuse.

We do not run ads on our website.

We do not receive government support.

We rely solely upon your donations.

And we are stopping animal abuse with your donations.

Please don’t leave us. We cannot do this without your support.

Will you please share this with your animal friends and follow us on Facebook for even more support.

The Red Cross only allows service animals in evacuation shelters.
